Understanding KYB Onboarding Configuration Modules on AiPrise

Business Information (Info) Module

The Business Information module is the default and first module in every business onboarding configuration.

  • This module is mandatory and cannot be removed or deleted

  • It collects the core business details required for AiPrise to perform registry and government database cross-checks

You can optionally configure:

  • Title and subtitle (supported across most modules)

Data collected in this module may include:

  • Business Name

  • Business entity ID (primary identifier)

  • Tax Identification Number

  • Business website

  • Alternate business names / Doing Business As (DBA) names

Each field can be:

  • Marked as mandatory

  • Made optional

  • Hidden, depending on your onboarding requirements

Supported countries

Within this module, you can also:

  • Select the countries you support for onboarding

  • Exclude specific countries if required

Only the selected countries will be available to end customers during onboarding.


Business Address Module

The Business Address module is used to collect the company’s registered or operating address.

  • Address input is country-aware based on the countries selected

  • As customers type, addresses are auto-filled and pre-populated

  • Address data is fetched and validated in real time to improve accuracy and reduce errors


Business-Related Persons Module

The Business-Related Persons module allows you to collect information about individuals associated with the business.

This includes:

  • Directors

  • Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs)

  • Shareholders

  • Authorised representatives

  • Other related individuals

Default roles

By default, the module includes:

  • Authorised Representative

  • Controlling Person

  • Shareholder

You can:

  • Add new roles

  • Edit existing roles by clicking on them

Role-Level KYC Configuration

For each role, you can define how identity verification is performed.

  • Assign a KYC template per role

  • Choose the type of checks to be run for that role

  • Configure verification at a granular, role-based level

You can also:

  • Toggle whether KYC is mandatory for each role

  • Enable or disable email invites

  • Enable inline verification during onboarding


Business-Related company Module

The Business-Related company module allows you to collect information about entities associated with the business.


Business Questions Module Group

The Business Questions module allows you to collect additional information through configurable questions.

You can:

  • Add custom questions

  • Choose response types (e.g. text, selection)

  • Control whether questions are mandatory or optional

This module works similarly to KYC configuration but focuses on business-level disclosures.


Business Documents Module Group

The Business Documents module enables document collection during onboarding.

You can:

  • Specify required document types

  • Mark documents as mandatory or optional

  • Automatically run checks on uploaded documents

This module is commonly used to collect:

  • Incorporation documents

  • Proof of address

  • Regulatory or compliance documents


Contact Information Module

The Contact Information module is used to collect basic contact details.

You can configure:

  • Phone number

  • Email address

Each field can be set as:

  • Optional

  • Mandated

  • Mandatory


Saving Your Configuration

Once all modules are configured:

  • Click Save to apply the onboarding configuration

Your onboarding flow is now ready to be used by customers.
