In KYB/KYC reviews, the result often stays as “Review” for a long time.
This makes it hard for compliance teams to quickly understand:
Has the business/individual submitted everything?
Are we waiting on related persons (UBOs / officers)?
Has an RFI been raised and responded to?
Is the case actually ready for review, or still blocked?
Auto-tagging solves this visibility gap.
What is Auto-Tagging?
Auto-tagging uses Business/User Profile tags to automatically reflect the real lifecycle state of a KYB/KYC session.
Instead of guessing from the result alone, compliance teams can now see exactly where a journey is stuck or ready—at a glance.
You can also create your own custom tags, which will not be updated automatically. AiPrise provides a predefined set of system tags that are automatically applied as the KYB journey progresses, as explained in the next section.
Status Tags Explained
These tags are system-managed and update automatically as the KYB/KYC journey progresses:
1. SUBMITTED
The business/individual has completed and submitted their profile information.
Onboarding session is complete.
2. PENDING_RELATED_SESSIONS
The main business/individual has submitted details
One or more related persons / related companies are still pending verification
Action is pending outside the main business profile
3. READY_FOR_REVIEW
All required information is collected
All related sessions are complete
The case is actually ready for compliance review
This is the key tag compliance teams should focus on.
4. ADDITIONAL_INFO_REQUESTED
Your team has requested more information or documents
A follow-up session or response is pending from the business/individual
5. COMPLETE
A final decision has been made
Business is either Approved or Declined
No further action required
