Business Lookup (Prefill) Pricing
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Overview
Business Lookup allows customers to fetch business information directly from supported government and registry sources and use it to prefill KYB onboarding.
The flow has two parts:
Business Search finds the business and returns matching entities from the registry.
Business Lookup uses the selected
business_entity_idto retrieve the full available business profile, including business information, registration details, related persons, and registry events.
The goal is to reduce the amount of information applicants need to enter manually and make business onboarding faster.
💡 TL;DR: Search is free. Lookup is $1 per API call starting November 15, 2026.
Registry prefill remains included for customers using the AiPrise Onboarding SDK.
Pricing
Capability | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Business Search | Free | Search for businesses available in the registry |
Business Lookup via API | $1 per successful lookup call | Fetch the full registry profile for a business |
Business Lookup via Onboarding SDK | Free, Included with SDK pricing | No separate lookup charge for customers using AiPrise Onboarding SDK |
What is billable?
The Business Lookup API is charged at $1 for every lookup call.
Pricing is based on the lookup call, not on whether the customer ultimately submits an onboarding session.
What remains free?
Business Search remains free.
Customers can search the registry and retrieve a list of matching businesses without incurring a charge. A charge is incurred only when the Business Lookup endpoint is called to retrieve the detailed registry information used for prefill.
Customers using AiPrise Onboarding SDK will continue to receive registry-based prefill as part of the onboarding experience without a separate Business Lookup charge.
Who does this apply to?
This pricing applies to customers who integrate directly with AiPrise through the API and use Business Lookup to retrieve registry information for KYB prefill.
It does not introduce an additional charge for customers using the AiPrise Onboarding SDK.
API Reference
The endpoint looks up the full available business profile using business_entity_id and country_code. state_code may additionally be required for certain countries, such as the US.
