1. What does the Web Presence AI Agent do and how does it work?


The Web Presence Agent is an in-house AI check that provides a complete online forensic view of a company. You only need to enter the company name and website URL. The tool scans multiple public data sources, analyzes the findings, and produces a structured report across key sections such as company profile, contact details, industry classification, website/domain health, social media, traffic, and historical views.

2. What does the Web Presence report include?

Each report covers:

  • Profile & Contact: Basic company summary, addresses, phone numbers, and emails (with “Verified” indicators where available).

  • Industry Classification: NAICS, SIC, and MCC codes to categorize the business. The primary code reflects the main activity, while additional codes cover secondary activities.

  • Website Content: Metadata, associated brands, placeholder text, and flags for concerning content or multi-level marketing terms.

  • Domain & Webserver Analysis: WHOIS data, registrar, domain age/expiry, SSL status, hosting provider, responsiveness, and apex/www resolution.

  • Social Media & Media: Official links to platforms, review scores, recurring concerns from user reviews, and adverse or notable media articles.

  • Traffic Data: Traffic breakdown by source and geography, plus metrics such as average time on site, pages per visit, and bounce rate.

  • Historical Views: Screenshots of past website versions from archives, showing how the site has evolved over time.

3. How is this different from the previous “Website Analysis” tool?

Web Presence AI Agent improves on the earlier Website Analysis feature in two important ways:

  • Built in-house: Fully developed and maintained by us, enabling faster improvements, tighter integration, and more reliable support.

  • Custom search: You can specify industries and keywords of interest. The tool automatically highlights them in reports, making it easier to surface relevant insights.

4. Where does the underlying information come from?


The agent combines web scraping of publicly available pages, WHOIS/domain registry lookups, public review sites, news feeds, third-party web analytics providers, and internet archives.

5. Can I customize what the tool looks for?


Yes. You can define industries and keywords of interest that you want to flag. You can configure these in the template settings, under "Website Info Configuration" tab.

6. How can I access and use the reports?


You can find the “Web Presence – AI Agent” template on your dashboard. You can go to the Quick Verify page and choose the Web Presence template, enter the company name and website URL, and the report will be generated within a few minutes. Reports can be exported as PDFs for further use.

8. Is the tool available to all customers right now?


Yes. Web Presence is currently available to all AiPrise customers. If you don’t see the template, please reach out to the us at support@aiprise.com
