How Can Users Complete Verification on Desktop Devices?

Our biometric identity verification process (liveness check) offers flexibility for users to complete the process on their mobile devices, even when starting on a desktop computer. This article explains how to enable and use this feature.

Enabling "Phone Only" Verifications

To ensure users always have the option to complete the verification on their mobile devices:

  1. Access your template settings

  2. Locate the "Phone Only" verification option

  3. Enable this setting

With this option enabled, users will see a QR code at the beginning of the verification flow, prompting them to switch to their mobile device.

Automatic Mobile Option for Desktop Users

Even without the "Phone Only" setting enabled, our system provides a mobile option in certain scenarios:

  • If no webcam is detected on a laptop or desktop computer

  • When the user reaches the selfie screen during the verification process

In these cases, a QR code will be displayed, allowing users to switch to their mobile devices to complete the verification.
