How to Use the List Feature on AiPrise to Block Individuals or Businesses
Last updated: October 10, 2025
The List feature on AiPrise allows you to block or automatically flag specific users or businesses during onboarding or verification. This helps ensure that restricted or high-risk entities are declined based on your internal policies.
Step 1: Create a New List
Navigate to Lists from your AiPrise dashboard.
Click Add a List.
Give your list a name — for example, User Block List.
Choose what type of data this list applies to:
Attribute (e.g., name, email, etc.)
User
Business
Step 2: Add Entries Manually
If you’re using attributes, select the field you want to match (for example, First Name).
Enter a value such as John Doe.
Press Enter to add.
You can add multiple values, and AiPrise will automatically block any users or businesses matching these attributes.
Step 3: Upload a Bulk List (CSV)
You can also upload a list of users or businesses in bulk:
Download the sample CSV provided on the list creation page.
Populate the file with user or business details you wish to block.
Upload the file under Browse Files and click Save.
AiPrise will automatically cross-match data from ongoing verifications with the uploaded list.
Step 4: Apply the List in a Risk Scoring Template
Go to your KYC or KYB Risk Scoring Template.
Open Settings → Risk Scoring.
Click Add a Rule and name it — for example, User Block List Rule.
Configure as follows:
Decisioning: Choose Decline (or Move to Review, if preferred).
Subject: Select User or Business.
Operator: Select is in list.
List: Choose the list you created (e.g., Blocked Users).
Click Save.
Once active, AiPrise will automatically decline any verification attempts that match entries in your list.
Summary
The List feature enables you to:
Manually block specific individuals or entities.
Upload large blocklists using CSVs.
Automate decline or review actions in your risk scoring rules.
